The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) President Dr Patrice Motsepe is deeply saddened by the passing of former Democratic Republic of Congo goalkeeper, Paul Kalambay.

Mr Kalambay was part of the Democratic Republic of Congo National Team that won the 1974 Africa Cup of Nations.

The CAF President Dr Motsepe conveys his and CAF’s deepest condolences to the family of Mr Paul Kalambay, the Fédération Congolaise de Football Association President and the Democratic Republic of Congo Football Family.

May the soul Mr Paul Kalambay rest in eternal peace.
